Title

Food & Beverage Director

Marty brings a lifelong passion for hospitality, food, and service to his role as Food and Beverage Director. Prior to joining the CCL team, he served as Director of Food & Beverage at The Country Club of Loch Lloyd for seven years. He also spent eight years at the National Golf Club in a variety of roles, including Food and Beverage Director and Real Estate Agent, gaining a well-rounded understanding of club operations and member service. Marty has been with CCL for ten amazing years.

Before entering the country club industry, Marty built a strong foundation in hospitality through hands-on roles such as server, bartender, trainer, manager, and director. He also co-owned a bar in Clear Lake, Iowa, alongside his identical twin brother, Eryn—an experience that further strengthened his entrepreneurial spirit and leadership skills.

Marty has a deep appreciation for great food and wine and genuinely enjoys meeting new people. He grew up in Blue Springs, Missouri, and attended the University of Missouri in Columbia. He now resides in Sugar Creek, Missouri, with his wife, Lanett, her mother, Sylvia, and their beloved dogs, Nora and Riley.

A lifelong golf enthusiast, Marty is also a devoted fan of Mizzou, the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas City Royals, Sporting KC, and NASCAR. Above all, he believes strongly in chivalry and in treating others the way he would want to be treated—values that guide both his professional approach and personal life.

Title

Clubhouse Manager

My journey at the Country Club of Leawood began in 2009 at Leawood South Country Club. I attended Missouri State University, where I later graduated, and returned each summer to work at the club during its remodel, helping shape the CCL we know and love today.

After completing my internship at CCL, I expanded my experience at Saddle and Sirloin, ultimately serving as Food & Beverage Director right after graduation. In 2018, I united with Marty and returned to CCL as Assistant Food & Beverage Director, a role I held until 2024.

Seeking to broaden my expertise, I continued my career as a Food & Beverage Director and General Manager outside the club before being fortunate enough to return once more in July 2025 as the Clubhouse Manager. I’m thrilled to continue serving our members and contributing to the exceptional experience that makes CCL truly special.
